Sarah Thorne studied Art and Design Foundation Diploma at Falmouth College of Art and has a BA (Hons) at Central Saint Martins College of Art. She is a Graphic Designer specialising in print and packaging. Her clients include Mulberry, Topshop, Victoria's Secret, Lily Gabriella, Jack Wills, London Fashion Week and Cochella.
I had chosen to contact Sarah by email to potentially interview for my Creative Report her practise similar to what I want to create in my own practise in the design industry.
Sadly Sarah was on maternity leave and therefore I wasn't able to interview her but she did respond to my initial email.

OUGD504 Reflection
OUGD504 had taught me something new that I never thought I would be able to do nor even thought I could do. The Design For Screen brief initially had me hesitant and I absolutely didn't want to do it especially as we had to think of a problem and then design a digital experience to solve that problem. I struggled at first to have an idea of what to do but once I had an idea and it was something I experience myself, it got easier. The designing process of the brief was the most exciting to do as I could see the whole thing coming together and looking like a real app. Through the brief, I was able to acknowledge screen based design websites that helped with the physical/working view of the design. I used a website called InVision that allowed me to show the demonstration of the app working in which was thrilling and sublime.
The publication however was not the best work as the final outcome didn't turn out as well as I wanted it to as the stock could've been considered more. Also, I'm not sure that publication design is for me and what I want to specialise in as I find it complicated and stressful. I don't think I have the eye for publication layouts and the InDesign layouts are complicated and confuse me.
