The foundation was founded in 1957 to persevere the artefacts and heritage of the former state, Prussia and is funded by German Government. The museum is to preserve and research into old history and showcases different artwork from Europe and worldwide. They feature different art media such as photography, painting, multimedia, sculpture, and film to show a diverse range of artwork.
Having learnt about Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein in high school, I was the first type of pop art I was introduced to and had to re-create. It was inspiring to see the artwork in person and the detail the scale of the designs. For the other pictures I had taken, the pieces were very influential as they shows history and a story.
